Rock Solid Foundation Repair is a family-owned company, run by a family that lived and grew up in Gardner. We're a growing company, working and expanding 45 miles out in every direction across the Kansas City Metro.
Our story
Joe's dad has worked in the foundation industry for as long as Joe can remember. Joe followed in his footsteps and worked under him for a long time, and today he owns and runs Rock Solid Foundation Repair.
His dad still runs a crew, so either Joe or his dad will be on your job site.
Kim, Joe's sister, runs the office and makes sure every job goes smoothly. She'll be the first person you talk to.
We're homegrown in Gardner, and the company runs on the family values Joe and Kim were raised with.
Between Joe and his dad, there's more than 65 years of combined experience in piering, wall stabilization, drainage and waterproofing, and our crew adds even more.
We work for homeowners, landlords and property managers, and every job gets the same approach. We inspect your foundation properly, explain what we found in plain language, and lay out your options and what each one costs in writing.
Now we're growing, expanding out from Gardner to about 45 miles in every direction.

Family owned and run
Not everyone on our crew is family, but everyone here either works on your foundation or keeps your job on schedule from the office.
Each person's card shows their role and how many years they have been with Rock Solid Foundation Repair, so you can see how much experience is behind the work.

How we work
01
If your foundation is fine, we will tell you that.
We would rather lose the job than sell you a repair that does not make sense for your home.
02
A single cracked wall gets the same careful inspection as a whole foundation.
Big job or small, you get a straight explanation of what we found and a written estimate that shows what the repair costs, why, and what other options you have.
03
Foundation work comes with a lot of technical terms.
We explain what we found, what the repair involves and why, in words that make sense, and we answer every question before you sign anything.
04
Foundation work is messy, and it happens in your home.
We clean up behind ourselves at the end of every day, so you can keep living in your house while we work.
Where we work
We're based in Gardner, and we're a growing company. Right now we're expanding about 45 miles out in every direction, which covers most of the metro on both sides of the state line. Not sure if we make it out your way? Give us a call and ask.

If another company has already quoted you a foundation repair, a second inspection is the simplest way to know whether that diagnosis holds up before you commit to the work.
We'll inspect your foundation in person, tell you what we think is causing the problem and why, and put our recommendation in writing so you can compare the two side by side. It costs you nothing, and there's no obligation.
FAQs
Before you let anyone into your basement, it makes sense to know who they are. Here is a little more about us.
It means Kim keeps your job running smoothly from the office.
It means the crew in your driveway is led by Joe or his dad, the two people with the most riding on how your job turns out.
And it means a problem on your job becomes our problem, and in this family, problems get fixed.
You can expect the same care Joe and Kim would want for their own house, where their kids live.
That starts with an inspection of the wall you have been worrying about and a clear answer about what is happening to it. If the crack is not a structural problem, you do not need a foundation repair, and we tell you so.
If you do need a repair, you get a written estimate that explains what we recommend and why before any work starts. Once the crew is on site, they work knowing your family still lives in the house.
Joe or his dad will be on your job site with the crew. His dad still runs a crew of his own, so every job has one of them leading the work.
That means the person in charge of your repair is either the owner of the company or the man Joe learned the trade from.
If the crew uncovers something the inspection could not show, like more damage behind a wall, Joe or his dad is there to look at it, explain it to you and talk through the next step before any extra work is done.
They are used to hard work. Kansas clay is heavy, it does not want to move, and the summer heat does not ease up just because they are in a hole.
The bar is high. Joe learned the trade under his dad, and his dad still runs a crew, so nobody gets away with cutting a corner with either of them around.
The crew looks out for each other and finishes the job right, and on a long day, somebody usually finds a reason to laugh.
The goal is that you can finally stop checking that crack every time you go downstairs to do laundry.
If a question about the repair comes up after we leave, you call Kim in the office.
No. We do not offer emergency or after-hours service. Our office is open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM, and closed on weekends.
If you notice something over the weekend, like a new crack or water on the basement floor, take a few photos and call us Monday. Photos of where the water reached or how the crack looked help us during the inspection.
Free estimate
The easiest way to get to know us is to have us out to your house. Joe or his dad will inspect your foundation, explain what they find in plain language and give you their recommendation in writing. The inspection and the written estimate are free.
